What I'm Doing Now
I'm working from a local coffee shop in my new neighbourhood, El Born.
I moved to Barcelona a month ago with a plan to stay for 3 or 4 weeks. It has been almost 4 weeks and I'm not ready to head back to the UK, so I've decided to stay longer.
As is often the case with bootstrapping, I've had to take on extra work to build up some more runway. Luckily I've found some really interesting and flexible work, which is allowing me to keep a balance with Yakk.
When not distracted by pixels, I've been exploring the city, keeping a good gym routine, as well as catching up with some friends I've not seen in a long time.
I'm putting a small but consistent effort into avoiding the use of English at all costs, which means I'm becoming a competent professional at mixing up ser and estar in Spanish.
Interestingly, most of the people I know in the city are people I've met through Esperanto, and so Esperanto is actually the language I've spoken most over the last 4 weeks.
Mojosege, ĉu ne?
